The Stela is a two-seat side-by-side high-wing braced monoplane with a composite structure.<ref name="wdla" /> It has a fixed tricycle landing gear and can be powered by an {{convert|80|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}} Jabiru 2200 engine or a Rotax 912 or 912S.<ref name="wdla" />

== Aeromarmi Stella M1 == The Aeromarmi Stella M1 was a light plane made under license in Mexico by Aeromarmi since 2006. It was powered by a Jabiru 3300 flat six piston engine and a Sensenich series Z propeller. However, the few sales and the elimination of the airworthiness certification by the DGAC forced the Mexican company to stop manufacturing the aircraft in 2010.<ref>{{cite web |url=https://5794-mx.all.biz/aeronave-monomotor-stela-m1-g31452 |title=Catálogo de Productos |author=Aeromarmi, S.A. de C.V. |language=es |trans-title=Product Catalog |access-date=October 13, 2019 }}</ref><ref>{{cite web |url=https://www.elfinanciero.com.mx/index.php/negocios/1467-abandona-aeromarmi-la-fabricacion-de-aviones |title=Abandona Aeromarmi la fabricación de aviones |date=November 4, 2010 |agency=El Financiero |language=es |trans-title=Aeromarmi leaves aircraft production |access-date=July 9, 2019 }}</ref>
