What makes this wiki different

Mediated Wiki publishes articles that people can improve in public. Its original contribution is the decision record around contested edits: a reader can see what changed, why another editor objected, what evidence each side offered, and how the dispute was resolved.

The site does not treat a copied reference library as published editorial content. External source material is used by signed-in editors for research and attribution, while the public article collection is limited to pages that have been selected, developed, and maintained here.

Articles should use reliable sources, distinguish fact from opinion, represent material viewpoints fairly, and avoid unsupported claims about living people. See the editorial policy for sourcing, corrections, AI assistance, and removal standards.

How mediation works

  1. Anyone can edit any article; changes go live immediately.
  2. Any change can be challenged by another member.
  3. Both sides give their reasons, then an impartial AI referee rules whether the change stays or is reverted — with a written rationale.
  4. Three keep verdicts settle a change; questioning a settled change goes to human stewards.
