The Reklaws were often mistaken for a romantic couple rather than siblings during the early part of their music career. One interviewer asked Jenna Walker and Stuart Walker how long the pair had been dating and based every question on an assumed romantic relationship, which created an awkward situation for the siblings. On many other occasions people told the duo that they would make great parents together.
