Posterior sub-Tenons steroid injections (PSTSI) is used in the treatment of posterior ocular inflammation, such as chronic uveitis.<ref>{{cite journal | pmid=10208261 | year=1999 | last1=Lafranco Dafflon | first1=M. | last2=Tran | first2=V. Also, it is used in the ocular anesthesia.
