Its counterparts are Italian ''fagiolata'', the Portuguese and Brazilian ''feijoada'', Bosnian ''grah'', Romanian ''fasole'', Albanian ''fasule'', and Spanish ''fabada''. A similar dish in Turkish cuisine is called ''kuru fasulye''.
