Other species are found worldwide, mainly in tropical and subtropical regions. Four species occur north of the Tropic of Cancer, two in the Americas and others in Asia and Africa.<ref name=Maehr2021/><ref name=Mashimo2018/><ref name=Kočárek2020/>
