==University career== Lindley played U Sports football for the Western Mustangs from 2017 to 2021.<ref name=Mustangs>{{cite web|url=https://westernmustangs.ca/sports/football/roster/david-brown/26226 |title=Zach Lindley |publisher=Western Mustangs |access-date=December 9, 2023}}</ref> He used a redshirt season in 2017 as the team won the 53rd Vanier Cup championship.<ref name=Mustangs/> He was also a member of the 2021 Vanier Cup championship team.
