==Early life== Yogaraj Bhat was born in [[Mandarthi]], in [[Udupi district]] in [[Karnataka]]. He grew up in [[Tilavalli]], [[Haveri district|Haveri]]. He was the youngest son of Ramachandra and Jayalakshmi Bhat's seven children.
