==Club career== Born in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca, Quintero played for Universitario Popayán as a youth. In 2019, he moved to Boca Juniors de Cali, and made his senior debut with the club during the Categoría Primera B tournament.

Quintero made his top tier debut on 17 July 2021, starting in a 2–0 home win over Jaguares de Córdoba.
