Xanthisma, common name sleepy-daisy,[2] is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.[1][3][4][5][6][7][2]

The generic name comes from the Greek "xanthos," "yellow", and "-ismos," "condition."[2] It was first described in 1836 from material collected in "The Mexican Province of Texas."[1]
