==Synopsis== Anna Politkovskaya was a journalist and human rights activist who persisted with reporting on the conflict in [[Second Chechen War|Chechnya]] despite considerable danger to herself and tried to expose corruption within Russia under the governance of [[Vladimir Putin]].
