It is located in the [[Southern Highlands, New South Wales|Southern Highlands]] between [[Sydney]] and [[Goulburn]]. The forest is managed by the [[Forestry Corporation of NSW]] and includes [[pine]] plantations, [[hardwood]] forest and native forests with stands of peppermint, manna gum and stringybarks.
