'''William Butler Tooth''' (1823 – 1876) was an English born Australian politician and pastoralist, who represented the electoral district of Moreton, Wide Bay, Burnett, Maranoa, Leichhardt and Port Curtis in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1858 until 1859.<ref name=nsw>{{cite NSW Parliament|url=|id=532 |former=Yes |title=Mr William Butler Tooth (1823-1876) |access-date=16 June 2019}}</ref>
He was the founder of the Union Club and was a member of the committees of the Sydney Club, the Society for Suppression of Cattle Stealing and the Agricultural Society of New South Wales.
