It was recorded in October 1977 at Kitchen Sink Studio.

The single was re-released on Frontier Records. The single was also included on ''Dangerhouse Volume One''.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/1992/04/17/city-of-angels-in-hardcore-halos/2a6c8340-7156-46e7-a24a-22844a3f798c/|title=CITY OF ANGELS IN HARDCORE HALOS|first=Mark|last=Jenkins|date=April 17, 1992|via=www.washingtonpost.com}}</ref>
