'''Urko Rafael Pardo Goas''' ({{langx|el|Ούρκο Ράφαελ Πάρντο Γκόας}}; born 28 January 1983) is a former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
Formed at Barcelona, he spent most of his career in the Cypriot First Division, mainly with APOEL with which he won eight titles including five league championships.<ref>{{cite news|url=http://www.marca.com/2014/09/16/futbol/champions_league/1410887990.html|title=Urko Pardo: "Es especial estar aquí"|trans-title=Urko Pardo: "It's special to be here"|newspaper=Marca|language=es|date=16 September 2014|access-date=13 November 2017}}</ref> He also competed professionally in Greece and Romania.
After being awarded citizenship, Pardo represented the Cyprus national team.
==Club career== ===Barcelona=== Born in Brussels to a Basque father and a Galician mother, Pardo began his football career with R.S.C. Anderlecht, finishing his formation with FC Barcelona but never making it past its B-side.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.fcbarcelona.com/web/english/futbol/temporada_06-07/futbol_base/FCB_B.html|title=FC Barcelona B – 2006–07 season|publisher=FC Barcelona|access-date=19 April 2009|url-status=dead|archive-url=https://archive.today/20120730214356/http://www.fcbarcelona.com/web/english/futbol/temporada_06-07/futbol_base/FCB_B.html|archive-date=30 July 2012}}</ref> He split the 2005–06 season – always on loan – between FC Cartagena and CE Sabadell FC with both teams in the third division, suffering relegation with the latter.<ref>{{cite news|url=http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/chipre-estacion-de-destino-del-exazulgrana-urko-pardo-1307097|title=Chipre, estación de destino del exazulgrana Urko Pardo|trans-title=Cyprus, exit sign for former ''azulgrana'' Urko Pardo|newspaper=Sport|first=Gerard|last=Muñoz|language=es|date=7 January 2012|access-date=13 November 2017}}</ref>
===Rapid București / Greece=== In the summer of 2007, released by Barcelona, Pardo signed with Greece's Iraklis, moving the following year to FC Rapid București in Romania but appearing rarely in his first season.<ref>{{cite news|url=http://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/20160222/302348361324/urko-pardo-un-seguro-de-vida-que-sale-al-mercado.html|title=Urko Pardo, un seguro de vida que sale al mercado|trans-title=Urko Pardo, market-bound life insurance|newspaper=Mundo Deportivo|first=José Luis|last=Artús|language=es|date=22 February 2016|access-date=13 November 2017}}</ref>
In 2009–10, another loan ensued as Pardo moved to Olympiacos F.C. also in Greece, playing just three Super League games in his first year. The move was extended by Rapid for the following season, and he appeared more regularly (Olympiacos were seeking a replacement for the legendary Antonios Nikopolidis (40), who was set to retire in June 2011, and said the Spaniard would be a very good choice for succeeding him),<ref>{{cite web|url=https://entosedras.blogspot.com/2011/03/blog-post_7154.html|title=Οι διάδοχοι του Νικοπολίδη|trans-title=The successors of Nikopolidis|publisher=Entos Edras|language=el|date=5 March 2011|access-date=12 March 2011}}</ref> being the most used player in his position.
===Cyprus=== In the last day of the 2011 summer transfer window, Pardo signed a two-year contract with Cyprus champions APOEL FC. He made his official debut on 19 October against FC Porto, replacing injured Dionisis Chiotis early into the second half of a 1–1 away draw in that season's UEFA Champions League,<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/0254-0d7d4750b2a3-3708c4b7c677-1000--porto-draw-keeps-apoel-on-top/|title=Porto draw keeps APOEL on top|publisher=UEFA|date=19 October 2011|access-date=19 October 2011}}</ref> and added a further four appearances as the club reached the quarter-finals for the first time ever.<ref>{{cite news|url=http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20130521/mundo-barsa/urko-pardo-chipre-premios-apoel-nicosia-barca_54374267072.html|title=Urko Pardo, Rey en Chipre|trans-title=Urko Pardo, King in Cyprus|newspaper=Mundo Deportivo|first=José Luis|last=Artús|language=es|date=21 May 2013|access-date=13 November 2017}}</ref>
