== Description == The codex contains parts of the Gospel of Luke and Gospel of John, on 44 parchment leaves (37 by 28 cm). The text is written in two columns per page, 35 lines per page.<ref name = Aland/> The Coptic text is not completely identical with the Greek.<ref name = Aland/> It is written in large, round, not compressed letters, in black ink. Pages have Coptic numbers.<ref name = Gregory/> It used Spiritus asper, Spiritus lenis, and accents, but often wrongly.<ref name = Gregory/> There are many itacistic errors.<ref>{{Cite book | last = Gregory | first = Caspar René | author-link = Caspar René Gregory | title = Textkritik des Neuen Testamentes | publisher = Hinrichs | year = 1900 | location = Leipzig | volume = 1 | page = 69 | url = https://archive.org/stream/textkritikdesne00greggoog#page/n81/mode/2up }}</ref>

Probably it was written by a Coptic scribe. In Luke 13:21 he wrote βαβουσα instead of λαβουσα. In Luke 13:16 he used δεκαι instead of δεκα και.<ref name = Scrivener>{{Cite book | last = Scrivener | first = Frederick Henry Ambrose | author-link = Frederick Henry Ambrose Scrivener | author2 = Edward Miller | title = A Plain Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament | publisher = George Bell & Sons | year = 1894 | location = London | volume = 1 | page = 147 }}</ref> The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Alexandrian text-type. Aland placed it in Category III. The Coptic text is not completely identical with the Greek.<ref name = Aland/>

It does not include the Pericope Adulterae (John 7:53-8:11) in the Coptic text. The Greek text has a lacuna in that place.

In Luke 23:34 omitted words are "And Jesus said: Father forgive them, they know not what they do." This omission is supported by the manuscripts Papyrus 75, Sinaiticusa, B, D*, W, Θ, 1241, ita, d, syrs, copsa, copbo.<ref>UBS4, p. 311.</ref>

== History == The Institute for New Testament Textual Research has dated the manuscript to the 6th century.<ref name = INTF>{{Cite web |url=http://intf.uni-muenster.de/vmr/NTVMR/ListeHandschriften.php?ObjID=20070 |title=Liste Handschriften |publisher=Institute for New Testament Textual Research |access-date=23 April 2011 |location=Münster }}{{Dead link|date=October 2025 |bot=InternetArchiveBot }}</ref>

Nine leaves of the codex (Luke 12:15-13:32 and John 8:33-42) once belonged to Carl Gottfried Woide, who received them from Egypt,<ref name = Gregory>C. R. Gregory, "Textkritik des Neuen Testamentes", Leipzig 1900, vol. 1, p. 75.</ref> and they are therefore known as the '''''Fragmentum Woideanum'''''. They were designated by T<sup>a</sup> or T<sup>woi</sup> and were confused with Codex Borgianus. According to Tregelles, they were parts of the same manuscript.<ref>S. P. Tregelles, "An Introduction to the Critical study and Knowledge of the Holy Scriptures", London 1856, p. 180.</ref> J.B. Lightfoot gave reasons for thinking that this fragment was not originally a portion of Borgianus.{{cn|date=July 2024}}

0124 was brought from White Monastery.
