The '''UAAP Street Dance Competition''' is an annual event of the [[University Athletic Association of the Philippines]] (UAAP) during the closing ceremonies. This is to encourage more students to watch since few spectators attend the closing ceremonies, where players are awarded for their performance.<ref name="Chavez">Leilani Chavez, [http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/07/05/10/uaap-teams-wary-season-73 "UAAP teams wary of Season 73"] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20100709061926/http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/07/05/10/uaap-teams-wary-season-73 |date=2010-07-09 }}, ''[http://www.abs-cbnnews.com "ABS-CBNNews.com"]''.
