It was formed by merging Bhairabsthan, Turmakhad, Nada, Raniban, Toshi and Dhamali [[Village development committee (Nepal)|VDC]]s.<ref>{{Official website}}</ref>

==Demographics== At the time of the [[2011 Nepal census]], Turmakhand Rural Municipality had a population of 24,782.
