==Career== Shelley was elected as a member of parliament (MP) for Horsham, Sussex, at the 1790 general election,<ref name="stooks-smith-horsham">{{cite book |last=Stooks Smith |first=Henry. |editor= Craig, F. ==Personal life== Shelley married Elizabeth Pilfold in October 1791 and they moved to Field Place in Warnham, West Sussex, approximately {{convert|40|mi}} outside London.
