==White Fence== Presley began recording music in his apartment using primitive and low cost equipment, while still a member of Darker My Love.<ref name="laweekly" /> Presley's debut White Fence album, self-titled ''White Fence'', was recorded between 2008 and 2009. The album was released in 2010 on Make A Mess Records, receiving generally positive reviews.<ref name="Review of White Fence">{{cite web|first=Mark|last=Deming|title=Review of White Fence|publisher=AllMusic|url=http://www.allmusic.com/album/white-fence-mw0001967192|accessdate=February 3, 2014}}</ref>

Presley's second album, entitled ''Is Growing Faith'', was released in 2011 through Woodsist Records. The album continued upon Presley's lo-fi and psychedelic sound, and contained a cover of Johnny Thunders 1978 song "You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory." The album gathered similarly positive reviews, noting Presley's developing instrumentation and experimentation.<ref name="White Fence Review">{{cite web|title=Review of Is Growing Faith|first=Tim|last=Sendra|publisher=AllMusic|url=http://www.allmusic.com/album/white-fence-is-growing-faith-mw0002085990|accessdate=February 3, 2014}}</ref> The same year, a live cassette entitled ''White Fence – Live in LA'', was released through the Teenage Teardrops label. 2012 saw Presley release three records; two as White Fence and one in collaboration with Ty Segall. The first, ''Family Perfume Vol. 1'', was released on April 3, 2012. The album was the first installment in a double release from Presley.<ref name="Vol 1">{{cite web|title=Vol 1|url=http://www.woodsist.com/catalog/12/white-fence-family-perfume-vol-1-lp/|website=Woodist.com|accessdate=February 4, 2014}}</ref> The second volume, ''Family Perfume Vol. 2'', was subsequently released on May 15, 2012. The album, entitled ''Hair'', similarly followed the same psychedelic and garage rock tendencies of Presley and Segall's respective previous works.<ref name=Hair>{{cite web|title=Hair|url=http://www.dragcity.com/artists/ty-segall-and-white-fence|website=Dragcity.com|accessdate=February 4, 2014}}</ref> The album was released on April 24, 2012, and was recorded and produced by Eric Bauer.<ref name=Credits>{{cite web|title=Credits|url=http://www.7x7.com/music-nightlife/white-fences-tim-presley-working-ty-segall-their-new-album-hair-and-more|accessdate=February 4, 2014}}</ref>

In 2013, Presley released his fifth album as White Fence, entitled ''Cyclops Reap''.<ref name="Cyclops Reap">{{cite web|title=Cyclops Reap|url=http://www.popmatters.com/review/170203-white-fence-cyclops-reap/|website=PopMatters|date=April 9, 2013 |accessdate=February 5, 2014}}</ref> The album was originally intended to be a release of Presley's older work from his previous four albums; however, he instead decided to create an album of new material. The album followed the same production techniques as his previous work, and was recorded on a 4-track in Presley's bedroom.<ref name="Cyclops Reap Interview">{{cite web|title=Cyclops Reap Interview|url=https://www.spin.com/2013/03/white-fence-tim-presley-interview-new-album-cyclops-reap-castleface/|website=Spin|accessdate=February 5, 2014}}</ref> Castle Face Records released the album in various formats, such as colour vinyl and on Flexi disc.<ref name="Various Formats">{{cite web|title=Various Formats|url=http://www.castlefacerecords.com/products/white-fence-cyclops-reap|website=Castlefacerecords.com|accessdate=February 5, 2014}}</ref> The album received positive reviews.

Presley's sixth album as White Fence, ''For the Recently Found Innocent'' was released in July 2014. The album differs from previous releases as it makes use of studio recordings rather than bedroom recording, creating a more polished sound. The album was mixed by collaborator Ty Segall.

In 2018, Presley released his second collaborative White Fence album with Ty Segall, entitled ''Joy''.

''I Have to Feed Larry's Hawk,'' the seventh White Fence studio album, was released on Drag City Records in January 2019.<ref>{{Cite news|last=Schatz|first=Lake|date=October 23, 2018|title=White Fence announces new album, I Have to Feed Larry's Hawk, shares "Lorelei": Stream|work=Consequence of Sound|url=https://consequence.net/2018/10/white-fence-larrys-hawk-lorelei/|access-date=September 9, 2020}}</ref>

Later in 2015, Presley released the eponymous '''W-X''', a 20-track, double LP under the same name.<ref>{{Cite web|title=W-X (White Fence's Tim Presley) – "Clean It Glen" (Stereogum Premiere) |url=https://www.stereogum.com/1822146/w-x-white-fences-tim-presley-clean-it-glen-stereogum-premiere/news/|access-date=2022-11-30|website=Stereogum|date=August 10, 2015 |language=en-us}}</ref> Largely instrumental, '''W-X''' leans further into abstraction than Presley'a previous work, drawing comparisons to Captain Beefheart and Ariel Pink.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Tim Presley's Debut As W-X Indulges White Fence's Weirder Impulses |url=https://www.spin.com/2015/10/tim-presleys-w-x-white-fence-stream-premiere/|access-date=2022-11-30|website=Spin|language=en-us}}</ref> In 2020, more than 5 years later, a single titled ''"I CAN HEAR MYSELF NOW"'' would also be released under the '''W-X''' moniker.<ref>{{Cite web|title=I CAN HEAR MYSELF NOW by W - X / Tim Presley |url=https://w-xmusic.bandcamp.com/track/i-can-hear-myself-now|access-date=2022-11-30|website=Bandcamp|language=en-us}}</ref>
