He is a two-time gold medalist in the men's team kata event at the Southeast Asian Games and a three-time silver medalist in this event at the Asian Karate Championships. He is also a bronze medalist at the World Karate Championships.

He also won one of the bronze medals in this event at the 2017 Asian Karate Championships.
