The '''Thatcher CX5''' is an American homebuilt aircraft that was designed by Dave Thatcher.
==Development== The CX5 is a two place, all metal, low-wing, tricycle gear-equipped aircraft. The prototype aircraft is outfitted with a Revmaster R-2300. The wings have upturned outer sections for dihedral.<ref>{{cite web|title=Dave Thatcher's CX5 Flies for the First Time|url=http://www.eaa.org/news/2013/2013-12-18_dave-thatchers-cx5-flies-for-the-first-time.asp|accessdate=27 December 2013}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.flyingmag.com/aircraft/experimental-aircraft-homebuilts/thatcher-cx5-makes-first-flight|accessdate=27 December 2013|title=Thatcher CX5 Makes First Flight|date=19 December 2013 }}</ref> <!-- ==Design== may be combined with above as "Design and development" --> <!-- ==Operational history== --> <!-- ==Variants== --> <!-- ==Units using this aircraft/Operators (choose)== -->
