==Professional wrestling career== He wrestled in the South during the 1970s. Tex decided to go to wrestle in New York about 1978,<ref name="bigaschild">{{cite book| first=Lawrence J.| last=James| date=May 1979| title=Big Book Of Wrestling: Texas Tank Bernard Speaks Out| publisher=Publications Quebecor| location=New York, NY| pages= 28}}</ref> including a wrestling promotion out of New York City, New York called Vega International Wrestling Promotions, promoted by Osvaldo Vega.

D.
