He was a sportswriter at the ''Milwaukee Journal'' for many years.<ref name="auto2">{{Cite web|url=http://www.jsonline.com/sports/longtime-journal-sportswriter-terry-bledsoe-went-on-to-be-bills-gm-b99634247z1-362129211.html|title=Longtime Journal sportswriter Terry Bledsoe went on to be Bills GM|website=www.jsonline.com}}</ref> He covered the Green Bay Packers from 1962 to 1968.<ref name="auto2"/> He was the beat writer for Marquette basketball and Al McGuire from 1962 to 1973. He later had senior management positions for the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals.<ref name="auto"/> He was married to his wife Shirley for 59 years until his death, and he had six children.<ref name="auto2"/> Bledsoe died on December 12, 2015, at the age of 81.<ref name="auto1"/>
