==Description== When a user types in the title of a film or TV show, the site's algorithm provides a list of similar content. It provides recommendations for TV shows to watch based on films liked by the user, and vice versa. It also provides recommendations for music, video games, and books, and includes film and TV trailers and music videos.<ref name="nextweb"/><ref name="popsci">{{cite news |last1=Nield |first1=David |title=How to find the best music, movie, and TV recommendations |url=https://www.popsci.com/find-best-music-movie-tv-recommendations#page-6 |accessdate=15 November 2018 |publisher=Popular Science |date=10 July 2017}}</ref><ref name="cnet2">{{cite news |last1=Reisinger |first1=Don |title=Top 10 movie recommendation engines |url=https://www.cnet.com/news/top-10-movie-recommendation-engines/ |accessdate=15 November 2018 |publisher=CNET |date=19 March 2009}}</ref><ref>{{cite news |last1=Staveley |first1=Jessica |title=The genius hack for picking a movie when you absolutely cannot decide what to watch. |url=https://www.mamamia.com.au/best-movies-to-watch/ |accessdate=20 February 2019 |publisher=MamaMia |date=31 December 2018}}</ref> An account is free and is not required to receive recommendations, but recommendations are more accurate for those with an account.<ref name="infotoday"/> The more a user explores the site, the more the site learns about the user's preferences and the better the results become.
