Kantar Media is responsible for audience measurement of television ratings across the country. ABS-CBN is the main television partner of Kantar Media Philippines.
As of 2015, Kantar Media employs a nationwide panel of 2,610 urban and rural households, with a respondent base of 7,000 individuals representing one hundred percent (100%) of the total Philippine TV viewing population.<ref>{{cite news|last=Dumlao|first=Doris|title=It's ABS-CBN's turn to claim lead in audience|url=http://entertainment.inquirer.net/79667/its-abs-cbns-turn-to-claim-lead-in-audience-ratings|date=February 6, 2013|newspaper=Philippine Daily Inquirer|access-date=April 10, 2013}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.kantarmedia.com/global/newsroom/press-releases/kantar-media-study-shows-tv-remains-king-in-the-philippines|title=In the age of smartphones and social media, Kantar Media study shows TV remains king in the Philippines|date=March 2, 2017|publisher=Kantar Group}}</ref>
The panel reports on seven sectors, namely National Capital Region, Suburbs, North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Suburbs consist of four provinces: Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal.
==History== In January 2009, Kantar Media officially released its national television audience measurement data in the Philippines via Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) Media, a subsidiary of Kantar Group. In February 2009, Kantar Group merged TNS with Kantar Media Research International, which is now called Kantar Media.
In June 2012, Kantar Media launched its Mega Manila TV Advertising Expenditure Service, integrated with its audience measurement service through Infosys+. This integration provides faster access to information and combines data from time blocks, programs, and advertisements into a single analysis to serve leading local and regional broadcast networks, advertising agencies, and media planners. Furthermore, Kantar Media also offers custom media research services for radio, print, and digital media.<ref>{{Cite web |url=http://lionheartv.net/2012/07/kantar-media-expands-ratings-data.html |title=Kantar Media expands ratings data coverage including rural panels |access-date=April 6, 2013 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20131128220051/http://lionheartv.net/2012/07/kantar-media-expands-ratings-data.html |archive-date=November 28, 2013 |url-status=dead }}</ref>

Originally, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the broadcast stoppage of its main partner ABS-CBN due to the non-renewal of its congressional franchise on July 10, 2020, Kantar Media announced that it would end its television ratings service by the end of 2020.<ref>{{cite news |last1=Camus |first1=Miguel |title=ABS-CBN shutdown aftermath: Research firm, ad agencies also cutting jobs |url=https://business.inquirer.net/306434/abs-cbn-shutdown-aftermath-research-firm-ad-agencies-also-cutting-jobs |access-date=September 7, 2020 |newspaper=Philippine Daily Inquirer |date=September 3, 2020}}</ref> However, the plan was reversed after ABS-CBN secured a deal with Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide through ZOE Broadcasting Network to air some programs on A2Z Channel 11 (formerly ZOE TV, QTV/Q, and GMA News TV).<ref>{{cite news |title=Kantar Reverses Closure of Philippines TV Ratings |url=https://www.research-live.com/article/news/kantar-reverses-closure-of-philippines-tv-ratings/id/5074882 |access-date=October 6, 2020 |work=Research Live |date=October 6, 2020}}</ref> ABS-CBN to broadcast a selected deal with Villar Group owned by the All Value Holdings Inc. through Advanced Media Broadcasting System of current ABS-CBN programs of All TV.<ref name="TVPALLTV">{{Cite news |date=April 13, 2024 |title=''TV Patrol'' to air on ALLTV beginning April 15 |url=https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/4/13/-tv-patrol-to-air-on-alltv-beginning-april-15-1429 |access-date=April 14, 2024 |work=ABS-CBN News}}</ref><ref name="news.abs-cbn.com">{{cite news|title=AMBS, ABS-CBN to bring Kapamilya shows, TV Patrol to ALLTV|url=https://www.abs-cbn.com/business/2024/4/23/ambs-abs-cbn-to-bring-kapamilya-shows-tv-patrol-to-alltv-1326|website=ABS-CBN News|date=April 23, 2024|access-date=July 7, 2024}}</ref><ref name="Byx Almacen">{{cite web|author=Byx Almacen|title=Eere sa ALLTV: Regine Velasquez 'di iiwanan ang 'Magandang Buhay'|url=https://www.abante.com.ph/2024/04/30/eere-sa-alltv-regine-velasquez-di-iiwanan-ang-magandang-buhay/|website=Abante|date=April 30, 2024|language=tl}}</ref><ref>{{cite news|url=https://www.lionheartv.net/2024/06/its-showtime-alltv/|title='It's Showtime' surprises viewers with sudden broadcast on AllTV|website=LionhearTV|date=June 17, 2024|access-date=June 17, 2024}}</ref><ref name="goin1">{{cite web |last1=Deveza |first1=Reyma |title='Goin' Bulilit' returning to TV on June 17 |url=https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/5/31/-goin-bulilit-returning-to-tv-on-june-17-1033 |website=ABS-CBN News |access-date=31 May 2024 |date=31 May 2024}}</ref><ref name="Aco">{{cite web |title="It's Showtime" kids and Baby Giant headline return of "Goin Bulilit" |url=https://www.abs-cbn.com/goinbulilit/articles-news/its-showtime-kids-and-baby-giant-headline-return-of-goin-bulilit-22658 |website=ABS-CBN Entertainment. |publisher=ABS-CBN Corporation |access-date=16 September 2024 |date=28 June 2024}}</ref>
