Sycosis

Sycosis is an inflammation of hair follicles, especially of the beard area,^[1][2][3] and generally classified as papulopustular^[1][3] and chronic.^[2]

Types

Types include:

• Sycosis barbae
• Lupoid sycosis
• Tinea sycosis
• Herpetic sycosis
