'''''Stenotosaurus''''' is an extinct [[genus]] of [[capitosauria]]n [[temnospondyl]] within the [[Family (taxonomy)|family]] [[Stenotosauridae]]. It is known from three species, all of which lived during the [[Anisian]] stage of the [[Middle Triassic]].
