The sclerites are probably synonymous with ''Thambetolepis'', which was originally described from Australia. Left-hand and right-hand sclerites exist, so the animal was bilaterally symmetrical; as in ''Halkieria'', palmate, cultrate and siculate sclerite morphologies exist.<ref name="Vinther2009a"/>
