Shklo is situated in the {{convert| 42 |km|mi}} from the regional center Lviv, {{convert| 18 |km|mi}} from the district center Yavoriv, and {{convert| 34 |km|mi}} from Krakovets.
Until 26 January 2024, Shklo was designated urban-type settlement.
