==Biography== Shen was born in Qidong, Jiangsu. He received his bachelor's degree in preventive medicine and master's degree in epidemiology from Nanjing Medical University in 1986 and 1989, respectively. He was a senior visiting scholar at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
