Its [[Drainage basin|watershed]] covers {{convert|153|km2|abbr=on}} and is mostly within [[Mount Edziza Provincial Park]]. The mouth of Shaman Creek is located about {{convert|55|km|abbr=on}} southeast of [[Telegraph Creek]], British Columbia, about {{convert|70|km|abbr=on}} north of [[Bob Quinn Lake]], British Columbia, and about {{convert|250|km|abbr=on}} east of [[Juneau, Alaska]].<ref name=length/>

==Geography== Shaman Creek originates in the high peaks and glaciers south of [[Mount Edziza]], such as [[Cartoona Peak]], Kaia Bluff, and [[Tencho Glacier]].<ref>{{BCGNIS|2964|Kaia Bluff}}</ref><ref>{{BCGNIS|15009|Tencho Glacier}}</ref> From its source about {{convert|8|km|abbr=on}} south of the summit of Mount Edziza, Shaman Creek flows east for about {{convert|20|km|abbr=on}}. It is joined by numerous unnamed tributaries. Just before emptying into Kakiddi Lake Shaman Creek is joined by [[Chakima Creek]]. Shaman Creek's watershed is part of the [[Mount Edziza volcanic complex]]. It is mostly within Mount Edziza Provincial Park. Shaman Creek and its main tributary Chakima Creek are entirely within the park.
