Shared members with higher elevation saltbush scrub include:<ref name=MDW/> *goosefoot family (Chenopodiaceae) members *four-wing saltbrush (''Atriplex canescens'' *shadscale (''Atriplex confertifolia'') *cattle spinach, or all-scale (''Atriplex polycarpa'').
Other species can include: *''Calochortus excavatus'' — Inyo County star tulip.
