==Biography== Alexandri was born in Kherson, then part of the Russian Empire, and was educated in Palestine.<ref name="BuckmanVol1">{{cite book|author=David Buckman|publisher=Art Dictionaries Ltd|year=2006|title=Artists in Britain Since 1945 Vol 1, A to L |isbn=0-953260-95-X}}</ref> She studied art in Florence, initially at the Royal Institute d'Arte between 1936 and 1940 and then, after the Second World War, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts during 1946 and 1947.<ref name="GMWaters">{{cite book|author=Grant M.
