==Coaching career== On 23 March 2009, after the dismissal of coach Wolfgang Frank, Schwarz became team manager of SV Wehen Wiesbaden and initially suspended his active playing career until the summer. In the 2008/09 season he was only able to train SV Wehen Wiesbaden as head of the coaching staff without a coaching license with a special permit from the DFB. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, Schwarz became a coach at 1. For the 2013/14 season, Schwarz moved to his old club, 1. FSV Mainz 05, where he took over as head coach of the A-Juniors (U19). There he became coach of the second team on 17 February 2015, succeeding Martin Schmidt, who took over the first team.
