Named after small local lakes, Sana and Sar are located {{convert|20|km}} west of Patnitop, Ramban district on the national highway 1A. At an altitude of {{convert|2,050|m}}, it is the hub for adventure and sport activities in the Jammu region. == Nearby sights == thumb|upright|left|Shankh Pal temple A nearby mountain range is called the Shanta Ridge. Shanta Gala is a pass on the Shanta ridge which offers a view of the Panchari valley on the other side of the ridge.
