Hardware

The Galaxy A16 has a similar camera setup with its predecessor, Galaxy A15: 50MP wide, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 13MP front camera.[7][8][9]

The system-on-chip on the 4G variant uses the MediaTek Helio G99 system-on-chip as with the previous model, while the 5G variants sport either a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or Samsung's own Exynos 1330 system-on-chip depending on the region.[7][8]

Like its predecessor, both devices have a 5000 mAh battery and support 25 W fast charging,[7][8] have a 6.7" Super AMOLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate,[7][8] and available in multiple storage (128 GB/256 GB which has UFS 2.2 storage type) and RAM options (4 GB/6 GB/8 GB RAM depending on the region), plus microSDXC SD card slot.[7][8]
