Samrai (Locally known as "Samrama") is a census town in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India.[1] It is located 3.1 km (1.9 mi) from Jandiala Manjki, 15.5 km from Phagwara, 19.7 km from the district headquarters at Jalandhar and 143 km from the state capital at Chandigarh. The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative.
