{{Infobox_gene}} '''SH3 domain-binding protein 4''' is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ''SH3BP4'' gene.<ref name="pmid10644451">{{cite journal | vauthors = Dunlevy JR, Berryhill BL, Vergnes JP, SundarRaj N, Hassell JR | title = Cloning, chromosomal localization, and characterization of cDNA from a novel gene, SH3BP4, expressed by human corneal fibroblasts | journal = Genomics | volume = 62 | issue = 3 | pages = 519–24 |date=Mar 2000 | pmid = 10644451 | doi = 10.1006/geno.1999.5994 }}</ref><ref name="entrez">{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: SH3BP4 SH3-domain binding protein 4| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=23677}}</ref>

This gene encodes a protein with 3 Asn-Pro-Phe (NPF) motifs, an SH3 domain, a PXXP motif, a bipartite nuclear targeting signal, and a tyrosine phosphorylation site. This protein is involved in cargo-specific control of clathrin-mediated endocytosis, specifically controlling the internalization of a specific protein receptor.<ref name="entrez" />
