The incumbent [[Member of Parliament (United Kingdom)|MP]] is [[Sarah Pochin]] of [[Reform UK]], who defeated Labour candidate Karen Shore by six votes at [[2025 Runcorn and Helsby by-election|a by-election]] on 1 May 2025, overturning a 34.8% majority.
