==History== A new hospital was required to replace services previously provided by the [[Pendlebury Children's Hospital]] at [[Pendlebury]] in the [[City of Salford]], [[Booth Hall Children's Hospital]] at [[Blackley]] in north-Manchester, and neonatal care from [[Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester]].
