==Personal life== Ashton-Griffiths is married to Sharmini Thillaimuthu, a senior studio director at the BBC, with whom he has two children. He lives in [[Suffolk]], and has dual [[British nationality law|British]] and [[Canadian nationality law|Canadian citizenship]].
