=== Redevelopment === thumb|Raine Square after its redevelopment in 2012 The later development of the square involved the construction of a large multi-storey building over what had been the square, maintaining some of the heritage properties that had been on the periphery of the original square. It has since gone through a range of owners and developments since the original construction.<ref>{{Citation | title=Group buys Raine Square | journal=Australasian Business Intelligence | date=29 May 2002 | publisher=COMTEX News Network, Inc | pages=1008148i9313 | issn=1320-6680 }}</ref><ref>{{Citation | title=Raine Square Development | journal=Australian Concrete Construction | date=December 2010 | volume=23 | issue=4 | pages=16 | issn=1034-7860 }}</ref><ref>{{Citation | title=Bids in for Perth's $450m Raine Square complex | journal=Australasian Business Intelligence | date=10 April 2013 | publisher=COMTEX News Network, Inc | issn=1320-6680 }}</ref><ref>{{Citation | title=Charter Hall eyes Raine Square | journal=Australasian Business Intelligence | date=17 April 2013 | publisher=COMTEX News Network, Inc | issn=1320-6680 }}</ref> In 2017 further developments were made to the complex of properties related to Raine Square.<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.afr.com/real-estate/charter-hall-gets-approval-for-raine-square-redevelopment-20161026-gsasbc|title = Charter Hall gets approval for Raine Square redevelopment|date = 26 October 2016}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/western-australia/work-to-redevelop-raine-square-in-perths-cbd-about-to-begin/news-story/84e0136dc492dca92c61c65533c18a8b|title=Inside the Raine Square redevelopment|date=3 June 2017}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.afr.com/real-estate/built-starts-first-stage-of-charter-halls-raine-square-perth-development-20170712-gx9loa|title = Built starts first stage of Charter Hall's Raine Square Perth development|date = 12 July 2017}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.communitynews.com.au/guardian-express/news/raine-square-redevelopment-to-include-cinemas-hotel-and-new-retail-and-dining-precinct/|title = Raine Square Redevelopment|date = 5 October 2017}}</ref>
