Raghav Chadha entered politics in 2011 at the age of 23 by joining the India Against Corruption movement. Shortly after, he became one of the founding members of the AAP Party when it was officially formed in 2012. When AAP won the Delhi state elections in 2015, Chadha was appointed its national treasurer. He was also the vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board, during his tenure as MLA in Delhi from 2020 till 2022. After AAP's victory in Punjab in 2022, Chadha was appointed as the chairman of an advisory panel in Punjab. In 2026, Chadha was removed from the post of AAP's deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, and subsequently Chadha left the party to join the BJP in April, 2026.
Chadha is also known across celebrity circles for his marriage to the popular Indian actress Parineeti Chopra, whom he married in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in 2023.
