==History==

For most of its past, Danilovgrad played in the Montenegrin Republic League, with few seasons in the Second League. After the [[Montenegrin independence referendum, 2006|Montenegrin independence]], club became a member of [[Montenegrin_Second_League_of_Men's_Handball|Second League]], and gained the historical promotion to the [[Montenegrin_First_League_of_Men's_Handball|Montenegrin First League]] in the summer 2009.
