==Playing career== Davids made his senior provincial debut for {{rut|Western Province}} in 2000 and later that year was selected to tour with the [[2000 South Africa rugby union tour of Argentina, Britain and Ireland|Springboks to Argentina, Britain and Ireland]]. Davids made his [[Test match (rugby union)|test match]] debut for the [[Springboks]] in 2002 against {{nrut|Wales}} at [[Newlands Stadium|Newlands]] in Cape Town. He played a further two tests in 2002, against {{nrut|Argentina}} and {{nrut|Samoa}}.
