Quernes (French pronunciation: [kɛʁn]; West Flemish: Kernes) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France.region of France[3] 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Béthune and 32 miles (51 km) west of Lille. The inhabitants are called the Quernois in French. The commune is part of the Communauté d'agglomération de Béthune-Bruay, Artois-Lys Romane.[3]
