The third ship {{ship||Norwegian Aqua}}, the first in the ''Prima plus'' subclass entered the fleet in 2025 and was around 10 percent bigger in gross tonnage than the ''Norwegian Prima''. The fourth ''Prima plus'' class ship, {{ship||Norwegian Luna}} debuted in March 2026.

The upcoming fifth ship {{ship||Norwegian Aura}} and sixth unnamed ''Prima plus plus'' subclass ships will be 20 percent larger than Norwegian Prima, making them the largest in the entire fleet, and they will debut in 2027 and 2028.<ref>{{cite news |last1=Zelinski |first1=Andrea |title=NCL will make future Prima-class ships bigger and greener |url=https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/NCL-will-make-future-Prima-ships-bigger-and-greener |access-date=2023-11-08 |work=Travel Weekly |date=2023-02-28 |location=Rutherford, New Jersey}}</ref> The ''Prima plus plus'' ships will be wider and longer than Norwegian Prima.<ref name="CIN20220510">{{Cite news|date=2022-05-10 |title=Norwegian Cruise Line Adding More Capacity to 4 Prima Class Ships |url=https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/27456-norwegian-cruise-line-adding-more-capacity-to-4-prima-class-ships.html |access-date=2022-05-11 |work=Cruise Industry News|location=New York}}</ref>
