'''Pradeep Rimal''' (1937–2015) was a Nepalese film director, lyricist, screenwriter and cultural anthropologist. == Biography == Rimal was born in 1937 (15 Ashoj 1994 BS) in Lubhu village of Lalitpur District of Nepal to father Durga Parsad Rimal and mother Dilli Kumari Rimal.<ref name=":2" />

In 1996, he worked as an assistant director and musician for ''Maitighar''.{{citation needed|date=November 2024}}
