==Club career== Born in Barrika, Biscay, Basque Country, Canales joined Athletic Bilbao's youth setup in 2016, from hometown side Barrika FE. He made his senior debut with the reserves on 3 September 2023, coming on as a late substitute in a 0–0 Segunda Federación away draw against UD Logroñés.
